DOUNE eased to another convincing league win with an impressive six-goal demolition of Bearsden.

Alan Inglis opened the scoring after 8 minutes. Inglis turned his marker and coolly shot under the keeper and into the far corner to make it 1-0.

Doune passed up several opportunities before making it 2-0 after 33 minutes. The referee adjudged a defender had handled in the box. Sean Heaver calmly slammed home the sport kick to make it 2-0.

Doune went in 2-0 ahead at half time.

They made it 3-0 after 63 minutes.

Doune were awarded their second spot kick of the day for another handball offence. Sean Heaver stepped forward and rammed home his second, sending the keeper the wrong way.

A number of Bearsden defenders protested over vehemently. The referee issued two red cards before play resumed and Bearsden were down to 9 men.

Doune took immediate advantage and made it 4-0 after 64 minutes.

Kenny Feaks moved the ball forward to Paul Statter. Statter fed the ball wide to Sean Heaver who found Chris Ogilvie with a pass inside. Ogilvie calmly stroked the ball home into the far corner of the net from 16 yards.

Doune pressed forward and made it 5-0 within five minutes. Chris Ogilvie latched onto a loose ball some 20 yards out. His strong shot deflected off a defender flew past a wrong-footed Wilson from 16 yards.

After 88 minutes, Lukasz Duszynski rounded off the scoring in spectacular style.

Dylan McGowan drilled a corner from the right towards the centre edge of the penalty area.

Duszynski anticipated the cross, sprinted across his marker and hooked an unstoppable curling volley high into the net at the far post from all over 20 yards to make it 6-0.

Within seconds, the referee blew for time as the Castle racked up another important win.
