ALLOA turned in an uncharacteristically-poor performance on Saturday as they lost heavily at Morton.

Peter Grant's man were not at the races as the Greenock side hit them for four, with Neil Parry having to produce some fine goalkeeping to keep the score down.

Neil Parry (star man).............6
The big stopper may have conceded four but made a string of fine saves to keep things slightly respectable.

Scott Taggart..........................5
Back to his natural position and played well in the first half. Moved back to cover after Andy Graham’s sending off.

Liam Dick..........................5
Dick made plenty of encouraging runs in the first half to put the Ton defence under pressure. Struggled in the second as the home side upped the ante.

Andy Graham......................4
The skipper will know he let his side down on Saturday. Sent off for an extended rant at referee Gavin Ross.

Robbie Deas.....................5
The Celtic loanee slotted in for his first start just 48 hours after confirming his move and started well but let down by the more experienced heads in the second half.

Stevie Hetherington..........5
Guilty of losing the ball in the build up to Morton’s equaliser and a day to forget for the Englishman.

Kevin Cawley (off 28)......6
The wee man took a nasty knock early in the game but his finish was sublime. Unfortunately taken off early with a knock.

Iain Flannigan...............5
The midfielder was involved in most of Alloa’s nice moments in the first half.

Alan Trouten (off 64)........5
Plenty of effort and enterprising running but struggled to make an impact against his former side.

Kevin O’Hara.....................6
By far Alloa’s most threatening attacker and lovely assist for Cawley’s goal. Grew frustrated as Morton turned the screw.

Liam Buchanan (off 64)........6
Threatened with a couple of efforts in the first half but fell out of the game in the second.

Jon Robertson (on 64)............4
Helped to bring some sense of stability but the game was long gone by then.

Adam Brown (on 28).............5
A tough game to have been thrown into but Brown showed some nice touches.

Robert Thomson (on 64)...........4
Cut a lone figure in attack and didn’t have any chance of making an impact.
