TAKE TODAY have announced a trio of Scottish live dates this October.

Fresh from the release of their Visions EP, the alt-rock five-piece are preparing a return to live performances with shows in Edinburgh, Dunfermline and Glasgow.

A plan to tour the EP earlier this year was postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak, but the band is hoping to pick up the mantle once again.

They head to the Wee Red Bar in Edinburgh on October 15, with a gig at Monty's in Dunfermline on October 16. They then round it off with a show at Audio in Glasgow on October 17.

All tickets that were bought for previously cancelled gigs - Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh on April 10 and Stereo, Glasgow, on April 11 - are still valid. A post on the band's Facebook page stated that briefs will be sent out "as soon as possible".

A spokesperson for Take Today said: “We had so much planned for this EP with regards to touring and even an HMV launch show.

"It was hard to take at first...but the whole industry hit the pause button so we knew we hadn’t lost ground.

"Now we can’t wait to play these new songs to our fans. There’s no better feeling than performing to a crowd and getting that same positive energy back."

Take Today unveiled Visions in April this year, with single releases coming in the shape of Freefall and Divide.
