A man has died in a flat fire in a residential Glasgow street.
Emergency services were called to Dumbarton Road in Glasgow’s Scotstoun area at around 4.25pm on Saturday, October 16 after a major fire destroyed a ground floor flat.
The 61-year-old man, who owned the flat, died in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have launched an investigation.
A police spokeswoman said: "A 61-year-old man has died following a fire at a flat on Dumbarton Road near to Ardsloy Place, Scotstoun, Glasgow, on Saturday, 16 October, 2021.
"Police and emergency services were called to the fire around 4.25pm on Saturday afternoon.
"The man, who was the householder and alone in the flat at the time, died at the scene.
"A joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
