AN EMERGENCY operation took place on Benarty Hill last week as a walker was airlifted to hospital.
Emergency services, including the Ochil Mountain Rescue Team, responded to calls that a walker had fallen on Benarty Hill on Sunday afternoon.
Police, fire crews, ambulance service and the Ochil Mountain Rescue Team worked collaboratively to rescue the casualty.
An air unit from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency was also despatched which lifted the patient and transported them to hospital.
