A MAN who died following a two-vehicle crash in Clackmannanshire has been identified as Alan Douglas from Tullibody.
Police confirmed the 38-year-old was involved in a crash involving a car and a lorry and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers were called to the area around 5.50 am yesterday (January 23).
Sergeant David Ross, of Stirling Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Douglas at this difficult time.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the crash and I would ask for the public’s assistance with our investigation.
“If anyone was in the area at the time of the crash, or has any dashcam footage that can assist us, please get in contact."
The A908 was closed between Fishcross and the Marchglen junction for around nine hours and re-opened at 3.15pm.
Police Scotland ask anyone who may have seen the incident or have dashcam footage contact the police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 0388 of January 23, 2020.
