CHRISTMAS is the most magical time of the year and Thistles, Stirling has welcomed the arrival of North Pole HQ, this year’s in-centre festive activity.

Guaranteeing a truly unmissable experience for children and families, North Pole HQ is now running daily between 11am and 4pm until Tuesday December 24 and admission is FREE.

Pulling out the stops to ensure a Christmas adventure like no other, North Pole HQ transports children into a winter wonderland with live character performers, exciting interactive games, storytelling and the chance to meet Santa.

Set within an arctic scene, a grand snowman – perfect for a selfie – welcomes children upon arrival at North Pole HQ.

Once inside, four snowy-decorated bases offer Ice Fishing Fun, where children can try their hand at the age-old skill in specially created ice holes.

Snowy Story Telling with polar bear pup Nanook taking kids on a journey of daring feats and festive treats, and a Snowball Pit, also add to the fun.

Little explorers will complete their fantastical Arctic journey with a visit to Santa’s Ice Chamber where they are invited to hop on to his sleigh, place their orders if they’ve been good all year and receive an early Christmas gift!

Gary Turnbull, centre director of Thistles, said: “North Pole HQ has arrived at Thistles and is an unmissable attraction.

“From now right up until Christmas Eve, we are inviting everyone to come along and enjoy this fantastic free experience which is running daily and where we guarantee magical memories will be made.”
