FALLEN soldiers will be remembered in Stirling this Sunday, November 10.

A service will be held at the Church of the Holy Rude at 10.45am to pay respects to members of the armed forces who lost their lives in conflict.

A parade will follow from the church to the cenotaph on Corn Exchange Road where wreaths will be laid by people like Provost Christine Simpson.

She said: “Remembrance Sunday is a poignant and moving day of reflection when we commemorate the sacrifices of our servicemen and women who paid the ultimate price in defending our country.

“I hope as many people as possible are able to join in the service at the Holy Rude and at the wreath laying ceremony at the cenotaph.”
