CANINE friends have been getting into the spirit of Halloween ahead of a spooky event at Gleneagles this week.

Halloween will be marked with a corpse-bride themed party at the hotel’s Ochil House from 7.30pm on Thursday, October 31.

There will be a house of horrors at what used to be the site of a mortuary when Gleneagles was used as a military hospital in the 1940s.

The hotel’s resident Labrador Henry and his four-legged companions (pictured) are also embracing the spirit of the event, donning a variety of costumes.

Entitled Ochil House of Horrors, the event is in partnership with Diageo as well as Veuve Clicquot and guests can enjoy wicked drinks, creepy canapes, tarot reading, monster mansion, ghastly games along with devilish dancing.

Guests are invited to bring their own disguise and face paints will be provided. A prize will be awarded for the guest with the scariest costume.

Tickets to the event are £20, call 01764 694 270 to book, over 18s only.
