SCHOOL may have finished up for the summer, but the fun is only beginning at the Thistles.

The Stirling shopping centre announced its School's not out for Summer programme of events to keep the young ones entertained.

Thistles' free classroom-themed event offers a timetable of everyone's favourite subjects...with a sprinkle of all-ages silly added for good measure.

It is now live in the centre and taking place daily between 12pm and 4pm until Sunday, July 28.

Over the course of the next four weeks, kids can take part in PE, cooking, gardening and science classes with a whole host of activities including slime making, cookie making and plant pot decorating creating extra excitement.

What's more, the classroom's whacky professors will be on hand to lead the lessons and children can take their creations home.

Gary Turnbull, centre director of Thistles, said: "School's not out for summer at Thistles as we announce our classroom-themed event officially open.

"Get set for an action-packed timetable of fun over the next four weeks as our whacky professors prepare to unleash heaps of fun to keep the kids entertained every day."

"Don't miss out, come and join in the fun!"
