POLICE in Forth Valley are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing in Stirling.

Rodel Nicoll from Parkside Court in Plean was last seen in Stirling at around 11pm on Tuesday 7th May and it is believed she then travelled to Glasgow.

Inquiries so far suggest the 40-year-old was in the city centre area at around 3am on Wednesday, May 8.

However, she also has links to Ayrshire and officers are currently liaising with colleagues in the West of Scotland to locate Rodel.

Anyone who knows Rodel's current whereabouts is asked to come forward.

The call follows on from a separate missing persons appeal for Rodel, issued last month.

She is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with long brown hair possibly tied in a ponytail and grey/blue eyes.

It is believed she is wearing dark trousers and a dark coloured jacket.

Chief Inspector Gill Marshall, local area commander for Stirling, said: "We believe that Rodel may have travelled West to the Glasgow area and we want to locate her as soon as possible to ensure she is alright.

"Anyone who has seen her since late on Tuesday evening, or knows where we can find her should contact police immediately.

"Likewise, I'd ask that Rodel also get in touch to confirm with us that she's safe."

Those with information can contact Stirling Police Station via 101 and quote incident number 4376 of May 7.
