Get ready to go Doune the Rabbit Hole this weekend.

Taking place between August 19-21, the intimate, independent music and arts festival will welcome the likes of Admiral Fallow, Cate Le Bon, Kathryn Joseph and Treacherous Orchestra to Cardross Estate near Lake of Menteith in Stirlingshire.

Each year the organisers aim to bring together a line-up that reflects the amazing diversity of independent music, arts and crafts being produced in Scotland.

With fantastic established acts, others you may not have had the pleasure to hear yet, as well as workshops, master-classes, comedy and poetry plus more tasty food and drink than you can shake a stick at, it’s bound to be a weekend of discovery and pleasure.

Doune the Rabbit Hole is truly family friendly.

Kids under 12 can go for free (as long as they take an adult) and in conjunction with Kidding Around Collective, throughout the weekend there's a huge range of activities for kids of all ages from games to crafts (and the always popular jelly slide).

There is also a special family camping area which is positioned away from the late night revellers so you can all get some sleep before the inevitable early rise.
