A DUNBLANE man is competing in the UK final for the American Golf Long Drive Championship.
Sean McCormack won the Regional AG event at the SECC with a drive of 387 yards, which qualifies him for the next round in Augùst at Heythrop Park resort, near Oxford.
If he wins this, the 52-year-old will be headed for the World Long Drive Championship in September.
Sean, a courier driver, said: "I am hugely excited to be leading the UK Over 45 Category in this competition.
"I am so looking forward to the UK final event in August and, with my wonderful support crew there, I might just be in with a shout to win the trip of a lifetime to the US and join the world's elite at the World Long Driving Final."
