Bannockburn were worthy winners at the conclusion of this end of season trial against Harestanes.

Burn followed the manager’s instructions to the letter by starting well and gaining a two goal lead.

With Nick McIntosh and Allan green posing the threats up front, Green converted a harry Bruce cross in the seventh minute.

Within 90 seconds McIntosh slotted past the sprawling keeper to make it two.

Burn lost their way and before 15 minutes after a good save from David Tait at the back post the forward took his second opportunity to get one back.

What appeared like a makeshift visitors were allowed more into the game. Their midfielder equalised with a 14-yard volley while Burn ball watched.

Half time 2:2.

First second half chance fell to Harestanes. A great touch from Gary Currie presented him with a one on one with goalie who saved the attempt.

On the hour a Kenny McLellan shot looked in but bounced out.

As the same attack continued, Darren Walker netted what turned out to be the winner.

Ross Cavanagh came on for the poorly Steven Knox and quickly had an attempt hit the bar. McIntosh came off for the lively Sean Lynch.

The game finished 3:2.

No winners this week on the lucky numbers. Burn have no game next week
