A STIRLING gymnastics club has been given funding from ClubSport Stirling to help them "progress to the next level".
Chalky's received a £750 grant recently from the local sports council's club development fund.
The money will be used to assist in the purchase of a new trampette and new training bar.
It is hoped the new equipment will allow young stars at Chalky's develop their skills and prepare for competitions.
Allen Gibson, Active Stirling’s club development officer, who supports the club with any funding and training, said: "ClubSport Stirling and their generous donations generate fantastic opportunity within our local sports clubs and for the community of Stirling.
"This money will allow Chalky's Gymnastics Club to extend their gymnasts expertise and allow them to progress to the next level."
Chris Chalk, head coach and club lead, added: “I would like to say thank you to ClubSport Stirling for the generous donation and look forward to using the new equipment to further develop the club gymnasts.”
