Milton's Football Development Officer Stevie Reynolds, along with founder member Pat Griffin, picked up the Scottish FA Legacy Quality Mark award at a presentation on Friday evening. 22 January. The award recognises the highest level of achievement within the SFAs quality scheme for Clubs that have become a key feature of their surrounding community.

Stevie Reynolds said, "It was a great honour representing Milton when collecting such a prestigious award. This has been achieved following the hard work from every one involved with Milton who put the benefit of all its players before themselves and who strive to make 'our club' the best it can be."

Meanwhile, there was further success in the area at the SFA presentation as Stirling Albion juniors section also received the development level quality away for their academy that covers the U8s-U14s age groups. Riverside FC also picked the award for the Community level quality award. All the clubs received their certificates at a glitzy presentation night held by the SFA Central region at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld. The guest speaker on the evening was Des McKeown who highlighted the importance of the grassroots level to the sport of football as a whole. Congratulations to everyone involved.
