Former Celtic WAG Lisa Hague has inspired her fans with a new profile picture on Twitter, weeks after making headlines for slamming body-shaming.
The mum-of-three and fiancée of ex-Hoops player Kris Commons posted the image after appearing on BBC Radio Scotland’s Kaye Adams Programme where she talked about body-shaming and the importance of positive body attitude.
Looking radiant in the picture, she captioned it: “#NewProfilePic.”

Six weeks ago, Lisa posted two naked images of herself onto her Instagram page; one of the “real” her with the other an airbrushed version.

Telling her 18,000 followers she was told to use the airbrushed one, she hit out: “I got told I shouldn’t use the unedited image. Why on Earth not when that one is the real me?”
Urging others to never let anyone judge them based on their body shape, Lisa added: “I am proud of my body, my scars and my mum tum - be proud of your body too.”

The brand ambassador for Southside fashion boutique Ruby Woo also said: “This is about showing how images are changed and we believe them to be real, we see them everyday without realising and so do the next generation.”
