FIFTEEN primary schools across Clackmannanshire took part in an inter-school rotary quiz, held at Alva Academy.
Alloa’s Redwell Primary School came first place, while Dollar’s Strathdevon PS finished as runners up.
Organised by the Alloa Rotary Club, the primary schools worked hard to impress quizmaster Steve Maguire, who was delighted with the brilliant atmosphere throughout the event.
Redwell and Strathdevon primaries now progress to represent the Wee County in the Rotary Area finals in a few weeks time.
Gordon Guthrie, youth and vocational convener at Alloa Rotary, presented the trophies and took the opportunity to congratulate everyone involved in the event.
He also thanked the organisers, the staff who helped to prepare the teams and the families who had supported them and all Rotarians who helped the evening run smoothly.
Particular thanks also went to quizmaster Steve and Creideasach Employment Law Specialists for sponsorship of the quiz.
